Smoooooooothies!
Super easy to make, smoothies are a great way of getting fruit and vegetables into your diet - particularly if you don't eat very many as part of your daily meals. Fruit and vegetables are so important for our bodies to give us the micro-nutrients that we often don't get from our meals, including vitamins, antioxidants, probiotics and many more!
You can put almost anything into smoothies and they can be as adventurous or as simple as you like. I'll list off some ingredients below and some ideas of what to put together.
Basic rule is - liquid into the blender/Nutri-Bullet/smoothie maker first. Use frozen fruit, if it's available, then add some extras (more fruit/veg, protein, flavours, etc) I'm not adding amounts to these recipes - it's very much trial and error and based on personal taste!
