I always use online inspiration to help me with my Visual Art lessons. While I am quite creative with my lesson ideas, I can find it difficult to have a variety of types of Art lessons. We often revert to the easiest method, or style of Art... when something slightly different can be every bit as easy to teach or to manage, but the children are learning in different ways, and picking up new skills along the way. As always with Art, it's about process, not product :)
Here are some of my 'go-to' Art websites for ideas, suggested lessons and inspiration :) (They are not in order of excellence, or anything like that, simply just listed!) Click the website name to be brought straight to the page!
Because Art has no language (as such!) and is so cross-curricular, lots of American and English websites can be used for inspiration and ideas. There are more and more Irish blogs and websites popping up of recent time, so if I've left any out, please do contact me and I'll add them in :)
